Types of trade

Meaning of Trade: Trade is the exchange of goods and services between people, businesses, or countries. It allows producers to sell their surplus and consumers to access products they do not produce themselves. Trade can be done in exchange for money (most common) or through barter (goods for goods). Types of Trade: Trade is mainly divided into two categories: 1. Internal (Domestic) Trade Trade that takes place within the boundaries of one country. Wholesale Trade: Buying goods in bulk from manufacturers and selling them to retailers. Retail Trade: Selling goods in small quantities directly to consumers for personal use. 2. External (International) Trade Trade that takes place between two or more countries. Import Trade: Buying goods and services from another country. Export Trade: Selling goods and services to another country. Entrepot Trade: Importing goods from one country to re-export them to another after repackaging or minor modification.
